Bhubaneswar: December 24: Odisha registered 263 new COVID-19 Cases on 23rd December. Of this, 151 people were in quarantine and rest 112 are local contact cases.
As per the information provided by I & PR Department, Angul District reported 45 cases, Balasore 14 cases, Bargarh 3 cases, Bhadrak 7 cases, Balangir 4 cases, Cuttack 29 cases, Deogarh 4 cases, Ganjam 2 cases, Jagatsinghpur 1 case, Jajpur 13 cases, Jharsuguda 2 cases, Kalahandi 5 cases, Kendrapara 14 cases, Keonjhar 8 cases, Khurda 15 cases, Mayurbhanj19 cases, Nawarangpur 1 case, Nuapada 11 cases, Puri 16 cases, Rayagada 2 cases, Sambalpur 4 cases, Sundergarh 41 cases and also, 3 Cases detected under State Pool.
With 263 new cases, total number of cases in Odisha increased to 3,27,542 and out of that, 3,22,648 patients have recovered from the disease. Active cases in the State come down to 2,991.
Also, as per the tweet of H & FW Department, four number of COVID Positive Patients succumbed to the disease while under treatment in hospitals.
