Bhubaneswar: There is no threat to BJD sweeping the polls for the fourth consecutive term in Odisha, feels party MP Baijayant Panda. The sitting Lok Sabha member who is seeking a re-election from Kendrapara constituency revealed this in a recent interview with a section of press.
Panda even optimized that his party will do better than 2009 in both Lok Sabha and Assembly polls under the leadership of BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik.
Enumerating the achievements of the ruling regional outfit in Odisha in the last 14 years are – good governance, economic development and rise in social indicators, he stated.
Speaking about his chances of retaining his seat, where he faces competition from five other aspirants, the industrialist turned techno savvy politician expressed confidence that he is confident of pulling a win again.
