Bhubaneswar: Good news for OMFED customers in Odisha as their favourite milk products will be now made delivered at their doorstep just at the click of the mouse.
The OMFED has inked an MoU with e-commerce Grozip on October 31 for digital marketing of all OMFED products for home delivery to its large number of customers and especially for those customers who do not feel like going to an OMFED parlour or to a shop to purchase its products.
OMFED has been providing quality products through around 4000 dairy cooperative societies across the state and it now aims to make its milk available in the entire country and later in the global market.
With the digital platform, OMFED along with Grozip will supply its customers large chain of products like milk, curd, paneer, butter, dairy whitener, sweet flavoured milk, ice-cream and other desserts.
Initially, the online service will be made available in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and soon it will spread its business network to other major cities and towns in Odisha.
OMFED is also planning to launch its full-fledged exclusive online B2C segment for the first time in India.
With the new initiative, OMFED now targets at least 1,00,000 online consumers within the first quarter of going online.
