A net profit of Rs 6381 crore has been posted by the Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The industries had recorded a net profit of Rs 5881 crore for the same period (fourth quarter) in the last fiscal.
Its total income from operations for the given quarter dropped to Rs 67,470 crore as against Rs 1,03,428 crore. Following the total income, RIL’s expenses, too, fell to Rs 60,389 crore from Rs 96,912 crore.
The company said that its Refining EBIT stood at Rs 4727 crore for the fourth quarter.
Mukesh Ambani, chairman, RIL said that the year gone by has been very succesful for the company.
Cash and cash equivalents for the given period stood at Rs 84,472 crore.
The company also announced a dividend of Rs 10 per share.
