There is a change in the itinerary of Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s Odisha visit on January 25. Earlier, he was due to attend a public meeting at Baliyatra ground in Cuttack during his visit. The venue has been changed to Bhubaneswar instead.
Earlier on January 7, he was due to attend a number of events as confirmed by Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President Niranjan Patnaik.
Patnaik had said, “Mr. Gandhi will reach Bhubaneswar at about 10 AM on January 25 and then meet some intellectuals in the city before attending a workers meeting in Cuttack. He will join the public meeting at about 2.30 PM.”
He had also notified Rahul Gandhi will also visit on the month of February.
But as of recent developments, Niranjan Patnaik on Saturday said, “The public meeting will now be arranged in Tamando or Baramunda on the already declared date. The Congress President will also attend the booth level workers meet and also some intellectuals.”
Rahul’s programme for the day will be from 10 AM to 5 PM.
