COVID-19 Cases growing in Odisha; 573 on April 4

India’s Active Caseload today stands at 4,08,977 and active cases now constitute 1.31% of the country's total Positive Cases.

Bhubaneswar: April 05: Odisha registered 573 new Corona Positive cases on 4th April. Of this, 337 people were in quarantine and rest 236 cases are local cases.

Khurda District has recorded highest cases on 4th April i.e. 96, followed by Sundergarh 80, Nuapada 60, Bargarh 43, Jharsuguda 39, Angul 32, Cuttack 28, Kalahandi 24, Sambalpur 21, Bolangir 20, Rayagada & Puri 16 cases each, Jajpur & Mayurbhanj 13 cases each, Balasore 11 cases, Ganjam & Keonjhar 8 cases each, Jagatsinghpur 4 cases, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Koaraput & Nawarangpur 3 cases each, Sonepur 2 cases, Boudh, Deogarh, Kandhamal, Kendrapara & Nayagarh one case each and 22 cases detected from State Pool.

With this, total cumulative cases in Odisha increased to 3,43,268 and out of that, 3,37,935 cases recovered from the disease so far.

Now, Odisha has 3,358 active cases.
