Remo D’Souza’s dance film Any Body Can Dance 2 (ABCD 2) has crossed the Rs 100-crore-mark. The film’s collections in its third week stand at almost Rs 102 crores.
It is Varun and Remo’s first movie to enter the Rs 100-crore club.
ABCD 2 is the second Bollywood film in 2015 to cross the Rs1 billion mark after Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
“With #ABCD2, Varun Dhawan as well as director Remo D’Souza will march into Rs.100 crore club. Shraddha Kapoor’s 2nd film to cross Rs.100 crore,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter.
The sequel of the 2013 film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance has had the highest opening day and opening weekend collection in the year so far.
Shraddha’s film Ek Villain was her first Rs1 billion-plus film.
