The Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha has asked people to watch the upcoming movie of superstar Salman Khan “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”.
Sinha was at the launch of a magazine in India’s showbiz capital Mumbai where he said, “I have witnessed monocracy taking over democracy. Even if the movies are passed by censor board or are a National Award winning film, people have problems with it playing in theatres. What I have heard about the movie is that it is the most secular film in recent times. So, my humble request would be to watch the movie before passing judgement about it.”
While addressing the media, talking about the religious controversy, the 69-year-old actor said, “If the objections are being raised about pronunciations or wrong word in any chant by Salman then the people should know that many of the pundits do not know how to pronounce several words properly.”
Shatrughan, who celebrated his 35th anniversary with his wife Poonam Sinha, was spotted at Magna House to launch Society Magazine Mumbai.
