Low Intensity Bombs Misses CRPF Vehicle and Damage Shops after Militants Attack in Srinagar

Militants hurled bombs near Ghanta Chowk (Clock Tower) at Lal Chowk in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir which ripped apart shops breaking window panes on Friday.

Originally, the attack was aimed at a paramilitary patrol party near the Clock Tower.

The police said, this attack was the second attack within 24 hours. No reports of damage or casualty have been reported in the incident.

Earlier, on January 17, six people including three policemen (1 Assistant Sub-Inspector and 2 constables) were injured in a similar attack near Zero Bridge at Rajbagh in Srinagar.
