The Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday in a debate at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in an AICC minority department convention in Delhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi as ‘coward”.
He challenged PM Modi to a debate on Rafale issue and said, “Narendra Modi is a coward, he will run away from the debate.”
He added, “If someone stands up to him, Modi runs away.”
He further stepped up on the attack on the PM saying, “The institutions in India do not belong to any party, they belong to the country, and to protect them is our responsibility, be it Congress or any other party. They (BJP) think they are above the nation, in 3 months they will understand that nation is above them.”
The Congress President reiterated on “minimum guarantee income” and how it can help alleviate poverty directly.
He pointed to the Doklam issue and criticized PM Narendra Modi of flying to Beijing for peaceful talks “without any agenda” and “folded hands”.
Gandhi said, “Chinese government realized Mr 56 inch is not even 4 inches. This is Mr. Modi’s character, he bowed down to China in Doklam issue.”
The Gandhi scion asserted that the Congress will win the 2019 elections and end Narendra Modi’s futile imagination of ruling for 15 years.
Gandhi said, BJP is “remote-controlled” by the RSS. The Congress President elaborated, “Narendra Modi is the front face, Mohan Bhagwat (RSS Chief) is the remote control.”
