Swine Flu Claims 2 More Lives, Death Toll Rises To 52 In Odisha


Bhubaneswar:  With two more persons succumbing to H1N1 viral attack, the swine flu death toll in Odisha increased to 52 today, official sources said.

While one person died at SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar, the second death case was reported from SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

The total number of positive cases in the state increased to 392, a health department statement said.

A total of 1329 samples have so far been tested across the state.

Earlier, the state government had issued guidelines to both government and private hospitals for the treatment of swine flu patients.
