Jaya Sworn in as TN Chief Minister for 2nd Consecutive Term

Chennai: All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) boss J Jayalalithaa was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for a second consecutive term on Monday.

This is interestingly since the passing of previous boss pastor MG Ramachandra Menon, who is famously known as MGR, in 1987 that a ruling party has come back to control for a successive second term in Tamil Nadu.

AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa and her 28 Cabinet colleagues will be sworn in by Governor K. Rosaiah at the Madras University’s Centenary Hall at 12 noon today.
