Mallya Repeats to Give It All and Stop Calling Him A Thief

A day after run away businessman Vijay Mallya offered to repay the principal sum to the banks, he reiterated his offer to mend his way.

He tweeted, “Respectfully to all the commentators, I cannot understand how my extradition decision or the recent extradition from Dubai and my settlement offer are linked in any way. Wherever I am physically, my appeal is “Please take the money”. I want to stop the narrative that I stole money”.

India’s first successful extradition happened the day before in Augusta Westland deal case. The middleman, Christian Michel was brought to India from Dubai on Wednesday. This incident provoked comparisons with fugitive Vijay Mallya residing in UK.

On Wednesday, the 62 year old liquor baron made his offer in a string of tweets. He expressed how his defunct airlines, Kingfisher couldn’t cope up with the rising fuel prices. Thus, huge losses mounted on him.

He even complained of not being given a fair trial by the law that prompted him to escape fearing the consequences.
