Lucknow : The Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled 12 pioneers and served showcause notification to two others for purportedly attacking its MP Keshav Prasad Maurya when he went to the region party office a week ago in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.
“Show cause sees have been served to Ex-MLA Ram Iqbal Singh and Babban Singh Raghuvanshi while 12 pioneers host been ousted from the party by state president Laxmikant Bajpai,” a senior party pioneer said here.
The move was made for against party activities after the pioneers professedly attacked party MP Maurya on January 4 when he was in Ballia for authoritative polls, he said.
Those ousted included two region VPs, a locale secretary besides others.
On January 4, when the MP went to the region BJP office for authoritative polls, these party member purportedly attacked him furthermore harmed his vehicle.
