Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced the return of odd-even traffic rule between November 4 to 15 in Delhi on Friday to curb the pollution percentage during the winter.
Delhi CM Kejriwal aimed to reduce the pollution rate by 10% to 13% during the period when burning of crops takes place in the adjoining states.
The Delhi CM said, the Delhi residents will be distributed masks for free from the month of October and everyone should be equipped with it by November 1.
He added, N95 masks have been procured.
The Delhi Municipal Corporation has been advised to sweep and sprinkle water on the dust to control dust pollution.
The Delhi government has announced laser show for the Delhi residents and has banned sale of firecrackers during Diwali time. Massive plantation drive has also been adopted by the state government.
