Five Naxals have been killed in an encounter with the first class commando unit of the CRPF after a savage gunbattle in the forests of Aurangabad region of the state.
Authorities said the encounter started late night in the Dibhara zone of the left-wing fanaticism hit region after which five groups of the Maoists, an AK arrangement strike rifle, one carbine, a nation made weapon and some other ammo have been recuperated from the spot. “As dimness has set in the forests territory, the troops are requiring time to disinfect the region and give furher subtle elements of the encounter. The CoBRA group was out for operation in light of a few inputs about the development of furnished Maoist units in the region,” they said.
They said the operation was directed by the troops of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) unit of the CRPF which has been raised by the power solely for forest welfare operations. A commando of the 205th brigade of the CoBRA has been harmed in the experience, they said, including the strengths are as yet looking over the territory for further recuperations.
The CoBRA and other consistent Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) units are sent in these regions of Bihar for undertaking hostile to Naxal operations.
