Dharmendra Pradhan Retains Petroleum; Pratap Sarangi as New State Minister in PM Modi’s 58 Council of Ministers

The day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sworn in along with his group of ministers, the Modi government distributed various ministry portfolios on Friday.

PM’s 58-member council of ministers contains 24 Cabinet Ministers, 9 Ministers of State with independent charge and 24 Ministers of State helming different departments of ministry.

The BJP has included a total of 24 new ministers from which 7 of them hold the Cabinet position, one is Minister of State (independent charge) and 16 new faces represent the Minister of State.
