Following by a landslide victory with 151 seats in the 175-member assembly in the 2019 polls, the YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy was sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh administered by the state’s Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday.
The CM oath ceremony of the YSRCP chief was envisaged by around 20,000 persons in the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijaywada.
The 46-year old Reddy’s swearing-in was also attended by his mother, wife, sister and his two daughters.
Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik along with Telangana CM KCR, DMK Chief MK Stalin were among the other attendees in the oath ceremony.
Earlier, the new Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Reddy offered prayers at the Tirupati temple and also visited Amin Peer mosque.
