Jamiat Advocate Drops Muslim Parties Lawyer Rajeev Dhavan from Ayodhya Review Case


Senior lawyer Rajeev Dhawan has been sacked from the Ayodhya verdict review case on Tuesday.

Senior advocate Dhavan who represented the Sunni Waqf Board and other Muslim parties announced on his Facebook post, “Just been sacked from Babri case by AOR [advocate on record] Ejaz Maqbool who was representing the Jamiat. Have sent formal letter accepting the ‘sacking’ without demur. No longer involved in the review or the case.”

Lawyer Dhavan rubbished his news of being unwell behind his sacking.

Earlier on December 2, the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind filed fresh review petition against the Supreme Court verdict of November 9.
