The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) leader Kamal Hassan gave a stern warning to Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday on promoting and unifying Hindi as the national language.
The actor-turned politician Hassan warned the Modi government on imposition of Hindi and added the war for language will be much greater than the Jallikattu protest.
The MNM leader said, No “Shah, Sultan or Samrat” can break the integrity of our culture. He said, we respect all languages but Tamil is our mother tongue.
Hassan in his tweet said, “Now you are constrained to prove to us that India will continue to be a free country. You must consult the people before you make a new law or a new scheme.”
