Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and hinted on breaking the alliance if the BJP failed to keep its promise on Monday.
The Sena MP Raut’s announcement came after the Shiv Sena minister Arvind Sawant quit from the Union Cabinet.
Raut blamed it completely on the BJP for showing arrogance.
Raut added, he has heard that the BJP has blamed Shiv Sena for the stranglehold in the formation of government in Maharashtra to which he responded that the BJP has rather insulted the people of the state.
MP Raut went a step further when he said, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress should step in to keep the BJP out of power.
Maharashtra is under political crisis over formation of the government after the recently concluded state elections on October 21 whose results got declared on October 24.
