New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi will inaugurate the annual convention of Central Information Commission (CIC) in New Delhi on October 16 amid which issues relating to the Right to Information Act will be talked about on its tenth commemoration.
At first, Modi was not to inaugurate the occasion as he was planned to address rallies in Bihar, sources said.
The programme in Bihar has changed, the sources said, including the Prime Minister will now initiate the CIC convention.
As per the prior arrangement, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was to address the inaugural event. The one-and-a-half-day long program will have 4-5 specialized sessions. The themes for the sessions will cover usage and the fortifying of different parts of the RTI Act.
