PK Mishra, PK Sinha Become New Principal Secretary and Principal Advisor to Prime Minister Modi


Former IAS officer and Additional Principal Secretary Pramod Kumar Mishra has been elevated to be the Principal Secretary and PK Sinha has been named as the Principal Advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

The 1972-batch IAS officer Mishra elevation to Principal Secretary comes after the exit of Nripendra Mishra on August.

PM Modi and PK Mishra have known each other for two decades since 2001 when Narendra Modi was the CM of Gujarat. PK Mishra had been serving as the Additional Principal Secretary for the last five years.

PK Mishra was an alumnus of Delhi School of Economics.
