Prime Minister Narendra Modi stepped up on his verbal attack on the West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee while addressing a mass gathering at Serampore in West Bengal on Monday.
PM Modi said, “Didi (Mamata Banerjee), on May 23 when the results will come, lotus will bloom everywhere and your MLAs will leave you. Even today, Didi, 40 of your MLAs are in contact with me.”
PM Modi who addresses Mamata Banerjee as “speedbreaker didi” for halting the progress in the West Bengal state had denounced Mamata of supporting two PMs for India.
Earlier addressed by CM Mamata Banerjee in the Unity rally where 20 opposition parties took centre stage, PM Modi had also commented on this double PM remark and said, “She is now aiding such people who want two Prime Ministers in India. Can you imagine this? Didi, your companions are openly claiming that India should have two Prime Ministers.”
Whereas, Mamata Banerjee comments PM Modi as “expiry babu” in her rallies.
