PM Modi Echoes Plastic Ban at ‘Swacchta Hi Seva’ in Mathura

At the launch of the National Animal Disease Control Programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ programme reverberated on ban of single-use plastic in Mathura on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister urged the people to change their habits and get rid of plastic at homes, offices and workspaces by October 2, 2019. He appealed to all to join this mission.

PM Modi advised people to carry a bag when they go to market. He added, Uttar Pradesh has been a role model for environmental protection for the whole world.

The launch of National Animal Disease Control Programme aims to vaccinate livestock and eradicate the Brucellosis disease by 2030.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Mathura MP Hema Malini were also present in the programme.
