PM Modi Visits Kedarnath after Poll Campaign Ends


A day after campaigning for the 2019 polls concluded, Prime Minister Narendra Modi after getting permission by the Election Commission (EC) visited Kedarnath on Saturday.

The Prime Minister landed at the Jolly Grand Airport  at Dehradun earlier in the morning around 9.30 AM. PM Modi visited the shrine temple of Kedarnath and offered prayers. He also reviewed the ongoing Kedarnath Development Project and will also review the Kedarpuri reconstruction project whose foundation stone was laid 2 years back.

The Prime Minister is on a two-day visit to the Uttarakhand state. This is PM Modi’s fourth visit to Kedarnath after assuming the Prime Minister’s chair.

Later on May 19, PM Modi will visit the Badrinath shrine and the PM will review the beautification project for the Badrinath shrine area.

Meanwhile, PM Modi was spellbound seeing the Kedarnath’s beauty and posted beautiful pictures on his twitter handle and wrote, “Majestic Mountains!”
