External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar stressed on India being more nationalistic and in maintaining regional cooperation in a direct reference to Pakistan at the World Economic Forum in Delhi on Friday.
India’s foreign affairs minister spoke on a wide range of issues from trade, economy and relations with the neighbouring country.
S Jaishankar said, “India is an exception as we are more nationalistic, but at the same time we don’t see a tension between being nationalistic and being international, in the sense of engaging more with the world, so nationalism is not a negative sentiment.”
On relations with Pakistan, Jaishankar said, “I would say the entire neighbourhood, minus one, had actually been a fairly good story of regional cooperation.”
He also highlighted on trade and business is on rise and India being most favourable tourist destination for its suitable economy.
