The Supreme Court on Thursday has ordered former interim CBI Director Nageswar Rao and his two associates to be present in the Court for abrupt transfer of A K Sharma regarding the investigation of Bihar shelter home case.

The CJI Ranjan Gogoi said, “We are going to take it very seriously. You have played with the order of Supreme Court. God help you. Never play with the Supreme Court’s order.”

A K Sharma was the joint director of CBI but his tenure in CBI was cut short on January 17, 2019 due to cold war in the agency.

The Bihar shelter home case was exposed by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in a report.
