Bhubaneswar: May 29: As reported by Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, 35 Covid Positive Patients died in last 24 hours while under treatment in Hospitals.
Angul District reported 5 deaths in last 24 hours, followed by Kalahandi (4), Rayagada (4), Jharsuguda (3), Khurda (3), Nawarangpur (3), Sundergarh (3), Boudh (2), Jagatsinghpur (2), Koraput (2), Cuttack (1), Malkangiri (1), Sambalpur (1) and Sonepur (1).
With this, total deaths due to Covid increased to 2,686.
So far, Khurda district has recorded highest deaths due to Covid i.e.463.
