Bhubaneswar: July 15: Odisha has recorded 618 COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, taking State’s total to 14,898, as informed by Health & Family Welfare Department.
286 new cases have been detected from Ganjam, 107 from Khurda, 61 from Balasore, 26 from Jagatsinghpur, 21 from Mayurbhanj, 16 from Cuttack, 15 each from Sundergarh & Nayagarh, 14 from Angul, 13 from Malkangiri, 10 from Sambalpur, 9 from Kendrapara, 5 each from Jajpur, Keonjhar & Puri, 2 each from Dhenkanal, Boudh & Bolangir and one each from Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Koraput & Rayagada.
Out of the new cases, 411 have been reported from quarantine centres, while 207 are local contacts, the health department said.
The Covid-19 death toll also rose to 77 with three more deaths in the last 24 hours. Two deaths were reported from Ganjam, and one from Bhubaneswar.
