Bhubaneswar: January 23: Odisha recorded 130 new Coronavirus cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 76 persons were in quarantine and rest 54 cases are local contact cases.
Out of 130 new cases, Puri district has reported 15 cases, followed by Sundargarh 14 cases, Bargarh 13 cases, Angul 12 cases, Balasore & Sambalpur 10 cases each, Jajpur 8 cases, Cuttack 7 cases, Khurda 6 cases, Jagatsinghpur 5 cases, Deogarh, Koraput & Nuapada 4 cases each, Mayurbhanj & Nabarangpur 3 cases each, Jharsuguda & Kalahandi 2 cases each, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Kendrapara, Keonjhar & Nayagarh 1 case each and 2 cases detected from State Pool.
On 22nd January, 212 patients have recovered from the disease.
Total cases in Odisha increased to 3,34,150 and out of that, 3,30,757 patients have recovered. At present, 1,436 cases are active in State.
