Bhubaneswar: April 16: Odisha reported 3108 new Positive Cases in last 24 hours. Out of that, 1806 people were in quarantine and rest 1302 are local contact cases. With this, total cases in the State increased to 3,61,450 and of this, 3,42,570 people have already recovered from the disease. The active cases number has gone up further and reached 16,889.
Yesterday 837 patients have recovered from the infection.
Khurda District reported 534 new Corona Positive cases, which is highest among districts.
In total, 11 districts reported more than 100 cases in last 24 hours. Besides Khurda, other districts those have reported more than 100 cases are Sundergarh (523), Cuttack (163), Nawarangpur (156), Sambalpur (153), Balasore (151), Nuapada (140), Bolangir (133), Bargarh (132), Puri (114) and Keonjhar (105).
Besides, Jharsugua reported 89 cases, Jajpur 75 cases, Mayurbhanj 71 cases, Kalahandi & Ganjam 55 cases each, Bhadrak 53 cases, Angul 44 cases, Sonepur 42 cases, Rayagada 38 cases, Jagatsinghpur 29 cases, Koraput 23 cases, Kendrapara 22 cases, Deogarh 19 cases, Gajapati 18 cases, Dhenkanal 16 cases, Nayagarh 15 cases, Kandhamal 10 cases, Boudh 9 cases, Malkangiri 3 cases and also 118 cases detected from State Pool.
