Amit Shah Resounds to Oust BJD Rule from Odisha at Gajapati

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah in his visit to the state has vociferously and harshly trained his words on the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) to an election campaign rally at Paralekhmundi in Gajapati district.

Shah said, “You have given Congress a chance to rule over you and Naveen Patnaik-led BJD some 19 years, give one chance to the BJP and in 5 years we will make this state the No.1 in the country. So, promise me to uproot the Naveen Patnaik government.”

Attacking the Odisha CM, Shah said, “Naveen Patnaik has been ruling the state for 19 years and yet is not able to speak proper odia. So, choose a Chief Minister who is well versed in your language.”

Shah questioned on why the Odia people leave for Surat to earn their livelihood and support their families.

Shah spoke, “In a meeting arranged where around 30,000 odia people took part and question arised on why the Odia people move to Surat for livelihood. What has the Naveen’s sarkaar been doing for 19 years?”

Shah on this replied, “If BJP comes to power in Odisha, the Odisha people won’t have to leave their state and can earn in their own homeland.”

Shah said on the discrimination in Odisha, “The BJD has been treating the Western and Central Odisha as second wife. This government is taking commission and hasn’t spared even the Puri temple’s ‘Ratna Bhandar’. Odisha needs a young CM.”

Shah stressed on the LPG gas facility that has been received by 48 lakh women in Odia homes.

Shah said, “We have got a PM who is continuously thinking for 18 hours a day on the country’s development.”
