Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on his repetitive visits to the Odisha state once again launched his war of words on the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) rule in Keonjhar at district medical college ground on Friday.
Shah lambasted the BJD government at the huge gathering saying, “BJD has ruled the state for 19 years, yet there is no drinking water available here. Even the district hospital doesn’t have a doctor.”
Ruing the job unavailability in the state, Shah voiced, “For once uproot the Naveen Patnaik government, then the youths won’t have to leave their homeland for jobs. Naveen ji has only engaged himself in mining scam and nothing else.”
Shah commented on the bureaucrats in Naveen’s circle responsible for corruption. He further spotlighted on the five years of work by the Modi government in eradicating poverty.
Shah further added, “Keonjhar was granted 1600 crores under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) programme. The Keonjhar Medical College is being built with funds from the DMF. Modi ji has granted this for the medical college, while Naveen ji hasn’t contributed a single pie in it.”
Modi ji has also contributed in forest development. Still the people of Odisha are poor even having bountiful natural resources, said the BJP President.
Shah raised his finger on the chit fund scam in the state and countered that Naveen hasn’t taken any single action against it.
Shah said, “Let the BJP come to power in the state. The people responsible for the chit fund scam will be put behind bars.”
Shah further added on setting up another medical college in Keonjhar if BJP voted to power and the Goods and Service Tax (GST) on Kendu leaves will be tax free.
