BJP President Amit Shah on Odisha Visit: Wants Odia Speaking CM

BJP President Amit Shah landed in Odisha and addressed a public gathering at the RMC field at Kulia in Salepur in Cuttack district on Tuesday.

Shah came down heavily on the Naveen Patnaik’s rule in Odisha and also on the Congress party.

Shah said at the gathering, “I appeal to the people of Odisha to elect an odia speaking candidate for the CM’s chair.”

He further added, “Odisha is rich in minerals but odia people are poor. Despite, the state being full of resources and youths, there is no development in the state. The government here is not capable of development.”

Continuing with his word war attack, Shah added, “Many programmes initiated by the Centre have not reached Odisha. Why hasn’t ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ reached to the odia people?  The government is afraid if such programmes get implemented here, people will like PM Modi.”

He said, “The Modi government had granted 5 lakh 13 thousand crores to Odisha government. Why hasn’t it reached the people of Odisha.”

Shah also stoked upon the ‘Ratna Bhandar’issue of the Lord Jagannath temple in Puri. He said the Odisha government is not capable of managing this issue.

He spoked at the mass gathering to elect the BJP government in the state and in 5 years, BJP will make Odisha number one.

Training his words on Congress party, Shah said, “Both BJD and Congress are two sides of the same coin. They will come and go but won’t make any progress for the state. After 19 years, Odisha is still in poverty.”

Shah predicted, seeing the results of last panchayat elections, BJP will come to power this time.

Speaking on the 55 year rule of the Congress party in India, Shah said BJP made reach cooking gas to each and every home. BJP also spearheaded to make toilets at rural areas.

Finally, he let the Odia people to decide if they want a ‘Majboori’ government or a ‘Majboot’ government.
