Cuttack: The yearly High School Certificate (HSC) examinations, led by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) would start in Odisha from February 22.
Declaring this at a press briefing here on Thursday, BSE president Prof Dakhshya Prasad Nanda said an aggregate of 6,01,348 Regular and Ex-Regular understudies will show up the examinations in 2882 focuses.
Discussing the strides the Board has taken for smooth conduct of the examinations, Nanda said the Board has set up 305 nodal focuses including 22 police headquarters as nodal habitats for safe care of examination papers and OMR sheets with 24-hour security.
“The Examination Committee of the Board has endorsed the quantity of the examination and nodal focuses according to the suggestion of the District Level Committee,” he included.
He said similarly as the administration of nodal focuses is concerned, the Board has delegated director and supervisor for every centre.
