Car Catches Fire After Hitting Tree In Nayagarh, 4 Critical

Nayagarh: As many as four persons including a woman and her child were critically injured after a car in which they were traveling caught fire today afternoon at Panchupandav village  under Nuagaon police station in Nayagarh district.

According to reports, the car crashed against a roadside tree as the woman driver lost control over the wheels following which the engine of the four-wheeler caught fire and within minutes was burning like a huge fireball.

All the four lucky survivors hail from Champeswar area in Cuttack and were admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in a critical condition. They were later shifted to Bhubaneswar.

On being informed, fire fighters rushed to the spot and rescued the four travelers trapped inside the vehicle.
