Odisha Matriculation Exam: After Odia Language Question Paper Leak, Now English Question Paper Leaks


The ongoing Matriculation examination in the state is raising serious concerns on the tampered examination centres in the various districts of Odisha. With the Odia language question paper leak on social media on February 22, the day 2 of the matriculation exam of English paper on Monday, yet again brought the question paper leak horror.

It has been reported that the leak has been viral in the Bolangir district of English question paper Set-A on social medium after the examination commencement for 15 minutes in the morning.

On the February 22 also, Odia language question paper leak on social media was reported from Nuapada, Dhenkanal and Koraput districts.

After the question paper leak, the State School and Mass Education Minister along with the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President Jahan Ara Begum dismissed of any such incident occurred.

The BSE President said, “The question paper being circulated in the social media doesn’t match with the actual questions of the set. It is a rumour.”

President Begum said, any untoward incident if happened will be measured to strict disciplinary action against the errand examination centres. The district administration have been given orders to imply Section 144 CrPC, if necessary.

Earlier on February 22, after the Odia language question paper leak on Whatsapp, the BSE has lodged FIR against nine teachers and 11 teachers at their designated centres as invigilators have been suspended.

7 teachers have been allegedly suspected to have circulated the MIL Odia question paper.
