The Federation of All Odisha Traders Association (FAOTA), traders and business establishments association in Odisha have supported the call for 9-hour bandh by the Confederation for All India Traders (CAIT) on Monday from 7 AM to 4 PM.
The CAIT has called for the 9-hour bandh to commemorate the martyrs of the Pulwama attack incident on February 14.
Shops, markets, petrol pumps and other business establishments in Odisha have been closed voluntarily, while vehicular movement has not been affected.
The families of the two martyred Odia soldiers, Manoj Kumar Behera and Prasanna Kumar Sahu in the Pulwama incident will get Rs. 50000 aid as decided by the Cuttack Chamber of Commerce.
The FAOTA General Secretary said, they stand in unison with the government’s action over this national tragedy.
