Odisha’s COVID tally increases to 1.16 lakh; Total death toll stands at 531

Bhubaneswar: September 4: Odisha reported 3,267 new Corona Positiive cases in last 24 hours, Health & Family Welfare Department informed. Out of that, 1961 are Quarantine cases and rest 1306 are local contact cases.

According to H & FW Department’s data, highest cases (859) have been detected from Khurda District in last 24 hours. Besides Khurda, Cuttack district reported 384 cases, Puri 235 cases, Rayagada 169 cases, Bhadrak 138 cases, Mayurbhanj 134 cases, Sundergarh 127 cases, Bargarh 120 cases and Keonjhar 107 cases.

Also, Ganjam District recorded 97 cases, Nabarangpur (85), Koraput (83), Sambalpur (80), Nayagarh (70), Sonepur (66), Jagatsinghpur (66), Angul (60), Kendrapara (51), Boudh (44), Bolangir (43), Nuapada (40), Jharsuguada (37), Kalahandi (37), Kandhamal (27), Deogarh (23), Jajpur (23), Dhenkanal (18), Gajapati (18), Malkangiri (17) and Balasore (9) cases.

With this, Odisha’s COVID tally increased to 1,16,678. Out of that, 87,351 patients have already recovered from the disease.
