India beats West Indies by 59 runs in 4th and final ODI, Captures series


Dharamshala: India defeated West Indies by 59 runs and captured series in 4th and final ODI match here in Dharamshala stadium on Friday evening.

Virat Kohli stormed back to form with scintillating 20th ODI century against West Indies in the fourth ODI on Friday.

Ajinkya Rahane returned to hut after scoring half-century in the fourth ODI against West Indies. He scored 68 off 79.

Openers Shikhar Dhawan departed after solid start against India. Dhawan scored 35 before being dismissed by Andre Russel.

West Indies Skipper Dwayne Bravo opted to bowl against India in the fourth ODI here at HPCA ground in Dharamshala on Friday.

For India, young Akshar Patel is making ODI debut for India. He has replaced Amit Mishra, who played crucial role in India’s victory at Feroz Shah Kotla, in the playing XI.

West Indies have also made one change in the final XI. Jason Holder has been included in the side for Ravi Rampaul.
