16,000 examiners evaluating Matric answer-sheets


Bhubaneswar: Amidst tight security, nearly 16,000 examiners at 61 centres have been engaged by the Board of Secondary Education to evaluate the annual Matriculation examination answer sheets, which began on Friday.

This year for the first time the question papers had both objective and subjective parts. The objective answers on OMR sheets would be evaluated by computers, where as the examiners would evaluate the subjective answers, board sources stated.
