Amidst tight security, Naveen to take oath on Wednesday

Bhubaneswar: It would be another action replay time for BJD president Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday, when he takes oath at Raj Bhawan, here for the fourth time in a row in 14 years as chief minister of Odisha. He would be administered the oath and secrecy of the office by Odisha Governor SC Jamir.

Though the number is still uncertain, a few members of the new council of ministers are also likely to take oath with Patnaik on Wednesday. As many as 300 guests including the invitees are likely to attend the oath ceremony, revealed sources.

While all arrangements were being made for the ceremony, LED screens would be put near Raj Bhawan for people to witness the live coverage of the oath taking ceremony.  As far as security is concerned, 10 platoons of police and IRB forces are likely to be deployed, revealed sources in the twin city police commissioner’s office.
