Javadekar launched BJP mega membership drive

Bhubaneswar: Union Information Broadcasting and Environ and Forest Minister Prakash Javadekar launched BJP’s mega membership drive with an ambitious target of 40 lakh people to be enrolled as party’s primary member.

Mr Parikh addressed party leaders in party headquarters premises and said compared to 3 lakh member enrolments last time, through mobile drive already more than 3 lakh people have already enrolled themselves as member of the party.

The Union Minsiter said his party targets at least 10 percent of the primary members to be active members of the parry.

Candidates who had fought the April elections, state party office bearers, state executive members and national executive members were present in the specila function organized to mark the occasion.

While addressing party workers the Union Minister said the people of the country have reposed absolute faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that has resulted in huge mandate. Saying that the commitment of ‘acchhe din’ is already there as price petroleum products and that of essential commodities have gone down.

Saying that Congress has drastically gone down and ‘congress mukt’ Bharat has become a reality, the Union Minister said Kandhamal by-poll in Odisha has again proved that Congress is almost finished in the state and BJP growing faster here.
