Three Arrested for Cow Slaughter in Bulandshahr Violence


The UP Police effort in nabbing the offenders for cow slaughter has finally made some progress. Police has arrested three persons related for the crime.

Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh verified that Sachin (aka Cobra) and Jhony Chowdhary were nabbed on December 18 and have not been named in FIR.

Out of the 27 persons accused in the case, one person Vishal Tyagi has surrendered to the police on December 17. Till now, 20 people have been put in jail.

Police Superintendent Atul Kumar Singh said, the arrested convicts have admitted to their crimes and disclosed the details. He said four cows were slaughtered on December 1 and December 2 in the jungles of Mahaw and Nayagaon villages.

The police have also arrested two other men. The police has recovered a vehicle, knives and a double barrel gun from the arrested culprits.

The three chief miscreants of the December 3 incident in Mahaw village in Siyana circle of Bulandshahr are still at large. The three vigilantes named in the FIR are Bajrang Dal district convenor Yogesh Raj, BJP’s Siyana youth wing President Shikhar Agarwal and VHP’s former Siyana Town President Upendra Raghav.

The death of Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh in the police-mob clash still remains unsolved.
