Mirpur : In a low scoring sensational T20 Asia cup match India beat its traditional opposition by 5 wickets with 27 balls remaining.
Opting to bowl first, India sent to the pavilion all the Pakistani batsmen for only 83 runs in 17.3 overs. Surfraz Ahmed made highest 25 runs in 24 balls with 3 fours. HH Pandya got 3 wickets giving 8 runs in 3.3 overs. Nehra and Bumrah splitted the Pakistani batsmen and made them nervous.
India’s starting was very pathetic. It lost three wickets immediately. But Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh kept their consistency and took India up to the winning door.
This is the sixth t20 international in which not a single six was scored. Its also a co-incidence that two batsmen from both side only scored double digit.
Virat Kohli 49 runs of 51 balls adjudged man of the match.
