Imran Khan Stands Up for Kashmiri Brothers on Pakistan Independence Day

On the eve of Pakistan Independence Day on Wednesday, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said he felt sad for the situation faced by his brothers in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory after India took a historic leap to revoke Article 370 from the Constitution on August 5.

The Pakistan PM said, the day of Independence Day in Pakistan gives lot of enthusiasm but the pain lingers in me for my Kashmiri brothers in the Jammu and Kashmir region.

He vowed to stand for his Kashmiri brothers who are facing India’s cruelty.

Earlier, Pakistan President Arif Alvi said Kashmiri brothers and Pakistan are one and we stand in unison for the plight of our brothers.

The Pakistan President added, people of Pakistan feel the tears of their Kashmiri brothers and want to resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogue with India.

Alvi further added, Pakistan is a peace loving nation and India should not consider it as our weakness.
