The United States President Donald Trump pronounced a strict law for the new immigrants to acquire visas only if they can cover their health insurance on October 4.

This latest move by the White House will be effective from November 3. Thousands of new Indian visa applicants stand uncertain over this new immigration law in US.

President Trump said, it is a must for new immigrants to be able to cover their health insurance and should have the financial resources to bear their medical expenses.

The US President in the order wrote, “The United States government is making the problem worse by admitting thousands of aliens who have not demonstrated any ability to pay for their health care costs.”

Trump further added, “Immigrants who enter this country should not further saddle our health care system, and subsequently American taxpayers, with higher costs.”

This step by the US is to lessen the financial burden of allowing immigrants in the US.
