Bhubaneswar: June 07: Daily cases in Odisha dipped further to 6118 on June 6. Of this, 3453 people were in quarantine and rest 2665 are local contact cases.
This time, Cuttack district recorded 640 cases, which is highest among districts.
Jajpur district reported 563 fresh cases, followed by Khurda 495 cases, Angul 416 cases, Puri 398 cases, Mayurbhanj 352 cases, Sundergarh 272 cases, Bhadrak 228 cases, Kendrapara 227 cases, Jagatsinghpur 218 cases, Balasore 195 cases, Koraput 180 cases, Nawrangpur 166 cases, Bargarh 164 cases, Nayagarh 161 cases, Keonjhar 155 cases, Kandhamal 143 cases, Dhenkanal 123 cases, Boudh 112 cases, Rayagada 108 cases, Sambalpur 103 cases, Ganjam 93 cases, Jharsuguda 86 cases, Bolangir 83 cases, Kalahandi 80 cases, Sonepur 52 cases, Nuapada 36 cases, Gajapati 30 cases and Deogarh 29 cases.
Also, 103 cases were found from State Pool.
Odisha’s total cases so far increased to 8,19,214 and out of that, 7,39,376 patients have recovered from the disease. At present, 76,750 cases are active.
As informed by Department of Health & Family Welfare, 41 patients have died due to the infection while undergoing treatment in Hospitals. Total death toll increased to 3035.
