NEW DELHI: Five individuals were held in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday regarding the murder of a newsman in Bihar’s Siwan area.
42-year-old Rajdeo Ranjan was shot dead by culprits near fruit market in Siwan on May 13. Two bullets were fired at the Siwan department head of a Hindi daily that hit on his head and neck. He was raced to a medical, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Two bikes and weapon used in killing of Rajdeo Ranjan have also been recovered.
Rohit, a notorious supari killer is also being interrogated by SIT and Siwan Police in connection with the case.
